- Between a rock and a hard place.
- About the Event
- Since the last exhibition, I have been working on images inspired by our beautiful coastline. The textures, contrasts and colours of rock formations and the intricacy of shell fragments and pebbles are the basis for my current work.

- Long Description
This year my exhibition will contain a completely new body of work. I decided to focus on an area I love, the coast of South West England, as a basis for my work. Whenever possible I take the chance to walk on the beach observing and photographing rocks and stones. I also enjoy searching for and collecting interesting finds - stones, shells, driftwood, which I use for my paintings.
I enjoy painting the rocks I have seen in detail, often using the zoom tool on the computer to really examine the smallest features. Also, taking these details and painting my own interpretation of them is an area I am currently exploring.
